This article contains information on the discovery of the 3D model in the ArtCAM version 2010, 2011 and newer.
Step # 1: Open the ArtCAM program and create a new model: “File” “New” “Model”. We recommend setting the maximum resolution. Click OK.
Step # 2: Go to the “3D View” tab, then open the “Reliefs” tab “Import 3D Model”.
Step # 3: In the window that opens, select the purchased * .STL model and click “Open”.
Step # 4: Specify the necessary parameters for the size and location of the model in the window that opens, then use “Paste”.
Done! The purchased 3D model in stl format is open and ready for cutting on the CNC machine.
